Nelson Gibson, Jr. began his singing career at the age of five years-old. Following in his mother’s footsteps (International Gospel Recording Artist, Christal Brown Heyward), Nelson started his musical journey singing at numerous churches and events around Charleston, South Carolina. By the age of 13, Nelson completed the recording of his promotional radio single, “The Anthem” produced by GRAMMY-Nominated writer, Michael Brown (released November 2015).
His brand new single, “Painkiller”, released May 2021, was produced by R&B/Hip Hop Artist, Mike Brown, and mastered by GRAMMY-Award Winning Songwriter, CL Baxter. Grabbing the attention of many bloggers and music reviewers, "Painkiller" induced a major buzz, selling over 10,000+ copies in the first week. Nelson’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, “After The Storm” is set to release in 2022. Gibson’s catalog in it’s entirety is available everywhere.
